By making payment or by receiving the invoice, you (the customer) agree to respect our Terms & Conditions set by Meryms Cakes. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have read the full Terms and Conditions. For wedding cakes, on receipt of final order a payment of a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required. The deposit reserves your date. Payment dates will be provided to you in the final order. Payment can be made by bank transfer (account details on request) or by cash in person.
Our cakes may include free range eggs, flour ( with gluten) and sugar. They also may contain or have come into contact with nuts or other allergens. Please let us know in advance of any special requirements. You will make sure your guests are aware of the risk and we are not responsible for any allergic reactions.
Once you collect your cake from us, we are not responsible for any damage to the cake. If we have arranged delivery and set up, we are not responsible for any damage after the agreed set up has taken place. The venue should provide a cake table. We will set up on the identified table and / or cake stand. We will not move furniture about. We will not provide a tablecloth or cake stand. Ensure the table you display the cake on is secure and away from any direct heat.
You are responsible for transporting the cake safely when collecting.
Please do not put the cake(s) in a refrigerator unless we tell you in advance.
If your cake requires fresh flowers your florist will provide the flowers. Ask your florist if any of the flowers they provide have toxic treatments. We are not responsible for any contamination from flowers on the cake. We will advise you of any non edible items in the final order.
We photograph all of our cakes which remain our copyright. Please let us know if you wish to use them.
We collect your email to contact you about your order and will no pass your details to anybody else or contact you for any other reason.
